If you feel stuck or overwhelmed by life and/or relational challenges, therapy provides a safe place to explore and address your concerns and make changes that can lead to contentment and a more fulfilling life.
Therapy is a personal and unique experience for each person and couple, so there is no rule of thumb regarding the number of sessions. Weekly or biweekly sessions are typical over to six months. You may need less or more time depending upon the specific issues and who is involved in the treatment process. Together we will work toward your goals and determine when you have gained therapy benefits.
Your Life’s Well offers standard sessions for 50 minutes and extended sessions for 90 minutes. The current investment for a 50-minute session is $160; the current investment for a 90-minute session is $230.
** The initial session for all clients is 90 minutes in length. Going forward, your session length is up to you and depends upon scheduling availability.
Payment in full is due at the end of each therapy session. Your Life’s Well accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Health Spending Accounts (HSA), Cash App, and PayPal.
Your Life’s Well does not bill insurance directly for several reasons:
- Using your insurance would require that you receive a Mental Disorder Diagnosis (Anxiety Disorder or Major Depressive Disorder, for example).
- The insurance company would require a treatment summary that outlines any progress toward stated treatment goals every few weeks.
- Several representatives from/affiliated with the insurance provider would then review your file and determine the allowed number of sessions and if they will continue to pay for us to work together.
- This process compromises your privacy. In this practice, your files are secured in a HIPAA compliant cloud-based portal and only made available to others with your written request and consent.
Your Life’s Well is happy to provide you with a statement of paid services, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is recommended that clients contact their insurance provider to explore this option, before scheduling their first session.
If you decide that using your insurance is the right decision for you, there are many directories to assist your search for a therapist. You can also call the number for mental health services on the back of your insurance card and request a list of therapists in your area that accept your plan.
All sessions are offered virtually via the Telehealth portal.
